Kamogelo Mphela was born on the 29th of November, 1999, and raised in Soweto. For her education, she attended Kibler Park Secondary and then went to Boston Media House to study Media Studies for a year.

She started out originally as a dancer and this was from an early age. Before becoming a pro dancer in 2018, she had tried acting as she was an extra on Isibaya but it didn’t work out. She gained attention after posting videos of herself dancing on Instagram. Mphela was nicknamed “Queen of Amapiano” and this title was a result of her dancing skills.

In 2019, she caught the attention of Major League Music which signed her that same year.

In 2021, she released her hit single, “Nkulunkulu” which shot her into the major leagues of South African music. The song was later certified platinum.
