Buntu Petse was born to South African parents on the 12th of February, 1997, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Even though there’s no information on her parents‘ names, she grew up with them in Johannesburg.

She attended the prestigious University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, where she studied Dramatic Arts. She graduated from the school in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree. Buntu has stressed that her parents have been supportive and encouraging throughout her study and career.

Career

Buntu Petse earned her first significant role in a movie in her final year at the University of Witwatersrand. Her major movie debut was in 2019 when she appeared in the South African famous soap opera “Generations: The Legacy.” She played the role of “Noble” very well and earned love and praise from fans. Despite the role in “The Generations” being her first official role, she is said to have gained her first Tv appearance at a younger age when she appeared as a presenter on SABC1 Science and Technology Show “Teenagers on a Mission” (TOMZ).
